Jordan Poole Had Courtside Moment With A-List Celebrity

In Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center, Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole shared a courtside moment with Academy and Grammy Award winner Will Smith.

Before Poole headed to the locker room, he linked up with The Fresh Prince, who was supporting his hometown team's battle against the Wizards.

Earlier in the day, Smith was honored by Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker and city leaders by renaming a street next to the actor's old high school.

"Philly, I love you. I am yours. You are mine," Smith said at a ceremony along 59th Street that's now named after him.

Smith is also doing some promo for his fifth studio album, "Based on a True Story" that will be released on Friday. This is his first record since "Lost and Found, which was released in 2005.

He won Grammys for "Summertime," "Men In Black," "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and "Parents Just Don't Understand." He's most known for starring in movies like "Bad Boys," "Men in Black" and "King Richard."

Meanwhile, Poole and the Wizards are trying to salvage what's left of the 2024-25 NBA season. While out of playoff contention, the young Washington squad is looking to develop further as a team with the guidance of their new vets, Marcus Smart and Khris Middleton.
