Lakers Send 4-Word Message After LeBron James’ Game-Winner

The Los Angeles Lakers entered Wednesday night's matchup against the Indiana Pacers desperate to snap a three-game losing streak and stay competitive in the Western Conference standings. LA got off to a strong start, heading into halftime with a 13-point lead.

However, as has been the case in recent games, the Lakers struggled in the third quarter, allowing Indiana to cut the lead down to just three points. With time winding down, the Lakers found themselves trailing 119-118 after Tyrese Haliburton converted a clutch layup and free throw.

With seven seconds left, the Lakers had one final chance to win. Luka Doncic missed a two-point attempt, but LeBron James was in the perfect position to tip in the rebound just before the buzzer sounded, sealing a thrilling victory.

James finished with 13 rebounds and seven assists, marking the 604th double-double of his career. Following the dramatic finish, the Lakers' official X account reacted with a four-word message:

James had a rough start to the game, going scoreless from the field in the first half-his first time doing so since 2010. He also struggled in the third quarter, scoring just one point before catching fire in the fourth and dropping 10 points in the final minutes to help secure the win.

Alongside James, the Lakers got a strong performance from Luka Doncic, who led the team with 34 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Austin Reaves also contributed 24 points, four rebounds, and five assists in the win.

With the victory, the Lakers are tied with the Memphis Grizzlies in the standings and are now just three games behind the second-seed Houston Rockets with 11 games left to play.
