Nuggets React to Big Nikola Jokić News

For a team such as the Denver Nuggets, every win is big at this point of the season. They got past the Milwaukee Bucks, 127-117, on Wednesday, which allowed them to strengthen their grip on third place in the Western Conference with a 46-28 record.

It was thought that Nikola Jokić, who had missed their previous five games, may not have been able to play on Wednesday. But he was cleared to play, and he cleared a path to victory for Denver with 39 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

The franchise gave Jokic some props on social media for what seems like the millionth triple-double of his career.

To be exact, it was Jokic's 160th triple-double as an NBA player. This season alone, he now has 30 triple-doubles, which is a personal career-high for any season.

On the season, the three-time MVP is averaging 29.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 10.3 assists a game. He is well on his way to becoming just the third player in league history to average a triple-double for an entire season.

On Wednesday, Michael Porter Jr. scored 23 points on just nine shot attempts, while Jamal Murray had 17 points and Christian Braun put up 19 points. Porter and Braun both had 10 rebounds as well.
