It's only a few days until domestic action gets back to the pitch after the international break. The FA Cup takes centre-stage this weekend with a host of Premier League clubs having already booked their spots in the quarter finals.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City are the current favourites but still have a battle on their hands. Elsewhere, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have a few days to wait before they're on the pitch again. There is still plenty going on behind the scenes though, with all three clubs embroiled in transfer talk.

United facing Arsenal battle

Manchester United and Arsenal are poised to do battle for Greek starlets Babis Kostoulas and Christos Mouzakitis. The Olympiacos youngsters, 17 and 18 respectively, were part of the squad which won last season's UEFA Youth League, beating AC Milan in the final.

According to The Sun, Milan are also exploring moves for the team-mates. There is also a third Premier League side in the mix in the form of Aston Villa, with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund also mentioned in connection with the pair.

If United are able to get deals over the line, it wouldn't be the first time they have frustrated Arsenal in the last 12 months. Gunners youngsters Chido Obi and Ayden Heaven both traded North London for Manchester and have since made their Premier League debuts.

Keown 'suggests' striker has already been signed

We may be months away from the summer transfer window opening but Martin Keown believes that Arsenal have already agreed a deal to sign a new striker. The Gunners' decision not to sign a No.9 in January was heavily criticised and even Arteta realised that he was 'disappointed' with the outcome.

"There's a new director of football now. You've got to go after the players, a good free transfer. You can't just keep spending money on the obvious Declan Rice. But you can be certain this summer they will be buying a striker, without doubt," Keown claimed on TNT Sports.

"I would suggest that there is already a player bought and it's already done from an Arsenal point of view. They won't make that mistake again."

FSG sent new demand

Kop favourite Robbie Fowler says Fenway Sports Group should give Mohamed Salah 'what he wants' to ensure he does not follow Trent Alexander-Arnold out of Anfield this summer. Liverpool's talisman has still not agreed a new deal with just weeks of the season remaining.

Liverpool have already been rocked this week by the news that Alexander-Arnold is planning to up sticks to Madrid. And Fowler says it's vital that Salah is not allowed to follow suit, even if that means paying what the player is demanding.
