Joao Felix has told his agent which club he now wants to join, it's not AC Milan

Chelsea will likely be looking for a permanent solution to at least one of their loan headaches that they have caused themselves this season.

Despite joining just months earlier, Joao Felix was free to join AC Milan at the end of the winter transfer window after struggling to break into the side at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca very rarely handed the Portugal international a start in the Premier League, and it was instead the Conference League where he played his best football in his second stint for the club.

Jorge Mendes has played a big part in deciding where Felix plays his football over the past few years. It was Felix’s agent who got him to Milan in the first place.

Joao Felix wants to join Galatasaray

Chelsea know they want to sell Felix, however finding a side to take him on a permanent basis could end up being a difficult task in the summer.

A new club has reportedly emerged as one of the contenders to bring him in at the end of the season when his loan at the San Siro comes to an end.

According to Sporx, Felix has told his agent that he wants to play for Galatasaray next season, with the Turkish side likely to lose Victor Osimhen after his spell there comes to an end.

The report goes on to say that this would have to be on loan, an option the Blues are currently trying to avoid at all costs.

Joao Felix’s AC Milan status

Things started incredibly well for Felix in Milan, with him finding the net within minutes of his debut.

However, the Portuguese star has dropped out of the starting lineup of late, and Italian media has berated Felix for a number of his performances.

It has been reported that the Serie A side are not currently looking to bring Felix in on a permanent basis, with a number of changes being made to their structure off the pitch.

There is of course still the opportunity for Felix to be intergrated back into the Chelsea setup, however this will come with him accepting that his future lies as a bit-part player.
