Andoni Iraola is a potential replacement for Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham, although a “horrendous” Bournemouth development could cause issues.
Postecoglou is on thin ice in North London, with Daniel Levy “99 per cent likely” to sack the Australian.
As a result, a replacement might soon be needed, with Mauricio Pochettino emerging as the favourite to take over from Postecoglou at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Should Spurs fail to bring Pochettino back to the club, Iraola is another potential option.
Levy could tempt the Spaniard to quit Bournemouth by offering him a £40million contract with Tottenham. However, this could prove to be a mistake based on developments at Bournemouth.

Tottenham’s dismal position in the Premier League is the main reason Postecoglou is facing the sack.
For a club of Spurs’ size to lose 15 league matches by April is simply unacceptable, and it is fair to say there have been various factors which have contributed to this poor form.

Spurs have struggled in the Premier League this season
While the 59-year-old’s tactics have been questioned at times, the injury crisis in North London certainly hasn’t helped, with Spurs’ medical staff brought into question.
And Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – fears similar issues could arise if Iraola were to be appointed based on what has happened at Bournemouth.
“Iraola seems to be one of the leading candidates to replace Postecoglou,” Wenham said.
“He seems to have a special quality about him. However, you’ve also got to consider that Bournemouth have only been playing once a week, yet they’ve still had horrendous injury problems, just like Spurs.
“Is that because of Iraola’s style of play, which is quite similar to how Postecoglou likes to play? That is one concern I’d have if Iraola were to be appointed.”

Tottenham should take the risk and appoint Iraola
Iraola has been a breath of fresh air in the Premier League, and while the Cherries have struggled with injuries, they’ve also handled these issues a lot better than Spurs have.
In addition, Bournemouth have fewer resources and a smaller squad than Tottenham. Therefore, if Postecoglou is sacked, it would be worth Spurs taking the risk and appointing Iraola.
