Villa face Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of the Champions League next month

Aston Villa have been told they will be facing “the best team in Europe” in Paris Saint-Germain.
Unai Emery’s Villa face PSG in the quarter-finals of the Champions League next month.
The first leg of the last-eight tie is at Parc des Princes on Wednesday, April 9, before Villa host the French club at Villa Park in the second leg on April 15.
And Strasbourg boss Liam Rosenior believes Luis Enrique’s side are favourites to lift the famous trophy.
“For me, PSG is the favourite for the Champions League, they are the best team in Europe at the moment,” he told AFP.
The winners of the quarter-final tie between Villa and PSG will face either Real Madrid or Arsenal in the semi-finals, with Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan on the other side of the draw.
PSG have controversially been allowed to rearrange a Ligue 1 fixture in between the two legs against Villa by the French football governing body.
They were due to welcome Nantes to the French capital after the first leg and before the second leg, but that game has been rearranged to give Enrique’s side the best possible chance of progressing to the next stage.
Nantes themselves declared their unhappiness regarding the decision and questioned the integrity of the competition in doing so.
But the French league bosses said in a statement: "With a view to promoting the progress of French clubs in European Cups, and considering that improving France's UEFA index remains an essential objective, the LFP Board of Directors, meeting this Monday, March 17, made an adjustment to Paris Saint-Germain's calendar.”
