Everton parted ways with Frank Lampard in 2023 after a poor turn of form at Goodison Park.
The former England international was responsible for one of the most memorable nights on Merseyside when safety was achieved against Crystal Palace.
This resulted in the ex-Chelsea head coach being well-respected despite eventually being sacked and replaced by Sean Dyche in L4.
Two years after his exit at Goodison, the Eagles have taken aim at Lampard ahead of their upcoming FA Cup quarter-final clash.

The last time that the SE25 club made it to this stage of the competition, they faced the Toffees at Selhurst Park and secured a 4-0 win back in 2022.
This was far from the result that the Evertonians wanted with a semi-final at stake, and the performance certainly angered Lampard.
Speaking after the game, he said: “The players performed at 70 per cent today and it’s not good enough.”
The former Derby County manager then opted to speak negatively of the goals his side conceded in South London.
Lampard added: “We allowed a goal from a corner, then another average goal, a fluke goal and another average goal.”
It is safe to say that this has lived long in the memory of Crystal Palace supporters, who will love to see the latest YouTube video posted by the Eagles.

A hilarious move from Palace and a perfect swipe towards Lampard, who showed a salty attitude with his comments after that defeat.

It is fair to say that Lampard wore his heart on his sleeves during his spell as head coach at Goodison.
With that being said, speaking in such a way about an opposition side who have just secured a 4-0 win against you despite a largely even game.

Lampard left himself open to criticism with what he said but is doing well with Coventry City so hasn’t let it impact him in his career.
