Manchester United midfield enforcer Manuel Ugarte is walking a disciplinary tightrope ahead of next week's Premier League restart.
The midfielder, who has recently been away on international duty with Uruguay, has racked up eight yellow cards in his debut season at Old Trafford, meaning he is in danger of being handed a two-match suspension in the coming weeks.

Premier League rules state that any player who amasses 10 yellow cards within their team's opening 32 matches of the season will be handed a two-match ban.
Ugarte, who joined United from Paris Saint-Germain last August, will, as a result, find himself having to watch his step in the Reds' upcoming clashes with Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and possibly Newcastle United, with the trip to St James' Park to face the latter on April 13 marking United's 32nd game of the campaign.
If he is cautioned against both Forest and City, he will be suspended for the trip to Newcastle and the clash with Wolves at Old Trafford on Easter Sunday.
If he collects his 10th booking of the season against Newcastle, though, he will miss the clash with Wolves and the following weekend's trip to Bournemouth, though that clash will be postponed if the Cherries advance to the FA Cup semi-finals this weekend.
Ugarte, who will turn 24 next month, served a one-match ban against Newcastle at Old Trafford on December 30 after earning his fifth yellow card of the season in United's 2-0 defeat to Wolves at Molineux on Boxing Day.
He has since been booked against Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham and Crystal Palace, meaning he earned three yellow cards in as many games.
Three games shy of the cut-off point for avoiding a two-match ban for racking up 10 yellow cards, Harry Maguire is the only other United player in danger of a ban, currently finding himself on seven yellows.
Lisandro Martinez has also racked up seven yellow cards this season but he will miss the remainder of the campaign through injury.
