We have another tough test this weekend against a Villa side who are right in the thick of the U18 Premier League South title race.

The Opposition

Aston Villa are six points behind league leaders Crystal Palace, but have played six games less as a result of their FA Youth Cup run, which will see the Villains take on Manchester United in the semi-final.

We are still within touching distance of Saturday’s opponents, sitting three points behind but having played a game more.

Villa endured a difficult February, losing all three league matches, but have bounced back this month with a league win over Fulham and a Youth Cup success against Plymouth Argyle.

Much of Aston Villa’s success this season has come from the threat posed by Cole Brannigan and Mason Cotcher, who have 19 goals between them.
