Offer being lined up for Ipswich Town winger – Contact in near future

According to a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas are now showing interest in Ipswich Town winger Jaden Philogene ahead of the next transfer window.

The Black Eagles have been linked with his club teammate Liam Delap in the past week as Besiktas manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær looks to strengthen his attack this summer.

[Fotomac](https://www.fotomac.com.tr/besiktas/2025/03/27/gundem-philogene) today report on Besiktas’ interest in Philogene, and they say Besiktas’ scouting team have put the youngster on their transfer agenda.

It’s claimed the Istanbul side will be looking to rent the attacker as they prepare for next season, and will make contact with Ipswich Town in the near future.

Philogene only joined the Premier League side from Aston Villa during the last window, but with the Tractor Boys facing relegation, Besiktas could look to take advantage. This is a typical plan formulated by Turkish clubs each season, although they often learn potential deals will be harder than they hoped.

Solskjær also wants to bring in a centre forward due to the poor form of Ciro Immobile this season, and Delap is seen as an option. Southampton’s Paul Onuachu has also been linked with the Super Lig side.

Since arriving from Villa, Philogene has made eight appearances, scoring three goals. He’s contracted to Ipswich Town until June 2029.
