The Buffalo Bills once again saw their season come to an end at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs last season, making it four consecutive times Andy Reid's team has put the final dagger through the heart.
But in the offseason, general manager Brandon Beane went about his work with aplomb, re-signing key players like Khalil Shakir, Grey Rousseau, Josh Allen, and Terrel Bernard.
Plus, Los Angeles Chargers pair Joshua Palmer and Joey Bosa came to the AFC East champs in free agency and upgraded two positions of need to further bolster Buffalo's roster.
But it appears that not everyone is on the same page when assessing the Bills' offseason dealings. Pro Football Focus called Buffalo's roster "better" while SI has given them a B- grade and has called into question two of Buffalo's offseason signings.
"The Bills were wise to reward their star quarterback with a pay bump after an MVP season," SI writes. But their bets on former Chargers Bosa and Palmer seem a bit underwhelming considering how inconsistent both have been the past few seasons. Buffalo will again lean on its core group to get it done in the playoffs. The front office certainly believes in them after locking down a handful of the key starters, overlooking the postseason shortcomings against Kansas City."
Granted, these lists are subjective, and yes, there are a couple of "what-ifs" with the roster, but Palmer and Bosa certainly do help both sides of the ball.
Plus, when Larry Ogunjobi and Michael Hoecht return from their six-game suspension, they will give the defense some more pass-rushing juice.

Bosa needs to stay out of the treatment room as injuries have derailed his last two seasons, while Palmer has been nothing but consistent for the Chargers in his four years, but the Bills need him to be more than that - he needs to be one of "the" guys for Josh Allen.
SI says the moves are "underwhelming" and until both Palmer and Bosa prove otherwise, the jury might still be out on Buffalo in 2025.
