This summer, Manchester United are in the market for a new centre-back as the club get used to a back three.
Already this season United have signed Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Ayden Heaven to the position.
However they aren’t the only new signings featuring in the back three under Amorim, with Noussair Mazraoui moving from a right-back to the right side of the centre-backs.
Now, Messaggero Veneto, as reported by Get Football Italia, has reported that United have set their sights on a new target.
The man in question is Udinese defender, Oumar Solet.

Manchester United target Oumar Solet
The French centre-back joined the Italian side in January as a free transfer after spending the first half of the season without a club.
Now, having become a key part of the Udinese defence, Solet has generated a lot of interest.
United are up against West Ham and several Turkish side for the defender now valued at €40million.
So let’s contract is due to expire in 2027, however Udinese might want to cash in on the star given the interest he’s getting and that they got him on a free.
United and West Ham have already contacted Udinese to understand his availability, however the results of the conversations aren’t yet known.
