If the Pittsburgh Steelers land Aaron Rodgers, he will be the team’s starting quarterback in 2025, and though it will be for just one season, it does not sound that great for the team.
Rodgers feels like the Steelers will roll straight into their usual season of 9-8 or 10-7. Yet, Green Bay Packers legend LeRoy Butler believes it the Steelers did add Rodgers, they could go all the way to the Super Bowl.
If he comes in, I think you have a legitimate chance to get to the Super Bowl,” Butler said to Ty Dunne. “If Aaron Rodgers goes to Pittsburgh, you can expect them to be in the Super Bowl. They’ll be my Super Bowl pick if he goes there.”
That is a bold take, as Rodgers went 5-12 with the New York Jets last year, but Butler thinks Rodgers has a lot left in the tank, even at the age of 41.
Rodgers threw for 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while battling knee and hamstring injuries throughout the season. That was after coming off a torn Achilles.
