Liverpool confident to beat Arsenal in race for Isak
Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Alexander Isak. But, they are joined by Premier League toppers Liverpool in the race. According to TBR Football, the Reds are confident about signing Isak and are prepared to break their club transfer record this summer.
Liverpool are said to part ways with Darwin Nunez this summer. In addition, they may also let Diogo Jota leave in order to raise funds for new striker. This will help them to spend big on striker as they have not made a major signing since a long-time. Isak will be their top priority whom Arne Slot labelled as ‘unbelievable’.
Newcastle will hope to reignite the transfer talks with Isak. The Swedish striker can still opt to stay if the Magpies qualify for Champions League. As of now, they have a very good chance to finish in top four.
