Mbappe and Vinicius Jr at risk of Champions League ban for Arsenal tie

Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior are among four Real Madrid players at risk of being banned for their Champions League quarter-final against Arsenal after UEFA launched an investigation into their alleged “indecent conduct”.

UEFA have appointed an Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector to investigate allegations of indecent conduct by Mbappe and Vinicius Junior - and their team-mates Antonio Rudiger and Dani Ceballos - during the second leg of Real Madrid’s Champions League last-16 tie with Atletico Madrid on March 12.

UEFA are believed to be looking at how the four players celebrated at the end of the match at the Wanda Metropolitano, which Real Madrid won on penalties.

If charged and found guilty, the players could be punished with a ban or fine.

Arsenal and Real Madrid are due to meet in the first leg of their quarter-final on April 8 at Emirates Stadium, with the second leg the following week at the Bernabeu.
