Stephen A. Smith fires back at LeBron James with Kobe, Wade remarks

Stephen A. Smith responded to LeBron James' recent Instagram post with a fiery segment on First Take. Smith called out James for being "petty" and brought up the topics of Kobe Bryant’s memorial and Dwyane Wade’s Hall of Fame induction, questioning why LeBron wasn’t present at those significant events.

For weeks now, Stephen A. Smith and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James have been engaging in an unexpected back-and-forth that has turned into one of the more surprising beefs in the NBA.

The latest development came after LeBron addressed the situation on The Pat McAfee Show. Smith responded shortly after on his podcast, but things took a new turn when LeBron posted a video on his Instagram of Smith boxing with two torn rotator cuffs.

Smith took the opportunity to bring up two iconic names in the NBA: Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade.

"I never really brought up or discussed why you were not at Kobe Bryant's memorial service. I never really brought up or discussed why you did not attend Dwyane Wade's Hall of Fame induction."

Earlier in the season, Smith criticized LeBron for allowing his son, Bronny James, to play in a game, questioning LeBron’s fathering skills in the process.

That led to James confronting Smith during the third quarter of the Lakers and New York Knicks game.
