Longtime NBA analyst Stephen A Smith has made a career for himself by being outspoken about almost anything. It has made him one of the more entertaining NBA personalities in the game, and it has continued to resonate today.

But there are times that he goes too far, and recently, he has been feuding with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. This comes after James approached Smith on the sidelines of a game, where James confronted him about comments regarding his son, Bronny.
The two seemed to hash things out, with Smith revealing what was said. Everything seemed to die down for a little but James rehashed a lot when he appeared on the Pat McAfee Show this week.
The Lakers star then made a social media post, trolling Smith. Smith didn't take kindly to that and went after James this morning.

Within his comments, Smith seemed to claim that James never attended the memorial service for former NBA star Kobe Bryant.
"He'd be happy with the things that I hadn't brought up. I never brought up, really, never really discussed, why you were not at Kobe Bryant's memorial service."
This claim seemed to be one of the wildest ones from Smith, and of course, it sent fans into a frenzy. However, it could be wrong as during the time of the memorial service, The Los Angeles Times reported that James did in fact attend.
"Among the Lakers-related faces in the audience: Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O'Neal, Phil Jackson, Jerry West, Rick Fox and LeBron James."
During this time, James took the death of Bryant very hard, and he didn't want to be a distraction at the service. It was reported that he was in the background of everything to pay his respects to his friend.
James wasn't front and center like others, and this may be why Smith believes he didn't attend. But this was still a wild claim from Smith, especially if James did in fact attend the service.
It seems that the drama between Smith and James isn't going to die down anytime soon. The two men continue to take shots at one another and there is no end in sight.
