As the 2025 NFL offseason continues, the predictions for the 2025 season continue to file in. Recently, ESPN Bet released their latest predicted win-total for all 32 NFL teams, including the New Orleans Saints.
So what did the national outlet project for the Saints and first-year head coach Kellen Moore? Well, just about the same as this past season. After finishing the 2024 season with a 5-12 record, ESPN Bet sets New Orleans' 2025 wins at 5.5.
The prediction comes just inside a month away from the 2025 NFL Draft. Some of the team's largest roster moves has been trading for New England Patriots defensive tackle Davon Godchaux, signing former Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid and bringing back former standout wide receiver Brandin Cooks.

Among the question marks for the team is its quarterback position. The Saints have publicly committed to keeping veteran Derek Carr as the starting quarterback, but the man who turns 34 on Friday missed seven games in 2024 due to oblique and hand injuries. While rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler established himself as the primary backup, completing 130 of 228 pass attempts for four touchdowns and five interceptions in seven games, NFL Draft experts have projected quarterbacks like Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss to be selected No. 9 overall to the Saints.
