Newcastle United will be prepared to fend off interest in their biggest stars this summer.
There is a core of key players at Newcastle United who will all likely attract interest in the summer transfer window – especially after winning the Carabao Cup.
Manchester City wanted Bruno Guimaraes and Liverpool submitted a bid for Anthony Gordon, but Newcastle were able to keep hold of both players.
Gordon signed a long-term contract at St James’ Park to end any speculation over his future and Guimaraes wants to stay at Newcastle.
There have also been endless rumours of Arsenal wanting to sign Alexander Isak, but PIF are desperate to keep hold of the Swedish striker this summer.

Chelsea make Alexander Isak transfer decision
Alongside Arsenal, Liverpool have also been linked to Isak, with the Merseyside club also considering potential swap deals to try and tempt Newcastle.
However, Isak has become priceless to Newcastle and it is hard to imagine any bid being accepted by PIF this summer.

According to TeamTalk, Chelsea have dropped their interest in Dusan Vlahovic as they would rather sign Isak if he becomes available.
Vlahovic is valued at £58m, but Chelsea seem to have abandoned their pursuit as they want to keep tabs on Isak. However, they would likely have to triple that fee to try and lure Isak from Tyneside.
How Newcastle United plan on keeping Alexander Isak
At Wembley, Isak’s statement after winning the Carabao Cup will encourage Newcastle fans that he is sticking around – he claimed this is only the “start” for this Newcastle side.
Isak’s contract is valid until 2028, but Newcastle are ready to offer Isak a new deal to end speculation of him leaving.
