Jason Kelce Predicts Eagles Newcomer’s Dominance in 2025

As former second-round picks go, Azeez Ojulari has put up plenty of production in his first four seasons in the league with the New York Giants. The 24-year-old has recorded 22 sacks during his time in the Big Apple and has been known as a pass-rushing specialist at times.

That made signing him to a one-year deal a no-brainer for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Philly's $4 million deal to a player that has suffered injuries, but when healthy is one of the best edge rushers in a pass rushing specialist in the game, always made sense for a team that lost three starters along the defensive line.

And one former legend of the franchise believes even bigger things are coming for Ojulari as well.

Speaking on 94.1 WIP Thursday morning, former All-Pro center Jason Kelce made it clear that Ojulari's impact could be felt not just as an edge rusher this year, but as a complete defensive lineman and outside linebacker in 2025.

""He's a dynamic player, can kind of do a little bit of everything...[The Giants] would utilize him in a lot of different ways," Kelce said. "He's not as undersized as like a Nolan Smith was, but he kind of fits an outside linebacker mold kind of, also big enough to play defensive end at the same time."

Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio wants his edge rushers to be able to not only rush the passer but do a good enough job in the run game. It's why Bryce Huff was essentially replaced despite his strong sack numbers the year prior.

If Ojulari can play like Nolan Smith, as Kelce suggested, then the Eagles got a starting outside edge rusher for an incredibly cheap price at this point.
