Former PSG manager Christophe Galtier set for new challenge

Former Paris Saint-Germain, Lille OSC, OGC Nice, and AS Saint-Étienne manager Christophe Galtier is set to take on a new challenge, according to a report from **[L’Équipe](https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Christophe-galtier-a-la-tete-d-al-duhail-remplace-par-djamel-belmadi-a-la-fin-de-la-saison/1549663).**

After just one season at the Parc des Princes, Galtier left PSG in the summer of 2023 and months later found a new challenge at Qatari side Al-Duhail SC. Two years later, Galtier looks set to leave the post. The Frenchman is approaching the end of his contract, with Al-Duhail well-placed to win the league title. His side are currently top of the table, one point ahead of Al-Sadd. Al-Duhail also won the Star Cup at the end of December.

However, despite his success with the club, he is not expected to sign a contract extension, **L’Équipe** understands. The Doha-based club look set to take former Algeria and Qatar manager Djamel Belmadi as his replacement. Previously, Galtier has been linked with taking the Qatar job.
