Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is currently ruled out with a Grade 3 calf injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that he will currently be undergoing individual training in order to get himself in shape to make a first-team return.
The 28-year-old has been ruled out since late January, with his last appearance coming in the 1-0 win over Brighton.

David Moyes is unlikely to have Dominic Calvert-Lewin back for a few more weeks
Having been out of action for a couple of months, Calvert-Lewin, while closer to a return, is still not quite there.
David Moyes is not expected to be able to count on his services for at least the next few weeks as he will first be eyeing a return to full training.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Calvert-Lewin: “It’s a hamstring injury and based on potential return timeline – nearly eight weeks – sounds like a Grade 3 hamstring injury.
“His current day to day will be ongoing treatment, strength and conditioning along with individual training with an emphasis to load the hamstring, especially sprinting.
“*He’s still not expected to return for another few weeks, at least until mid-April.*“

Everton must not hand a new deal to Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Everton should hesitate to offer Calvert-Lewin a new contract due to his persistent injury issues and declining output.
The 28-year-old striker, whose deal expires in June 2025, has missed over 70 games since 2020, undermining his reliability as the Toffees battle financial constraints and relegation threats.
His goal tally pales against his 2020-21 peak of 16, reflecting a dip in form exacerbated by fitness struggles.
With the club needing funds and stability, tying down an injury-prone player risks wasting resources when younger, fitter options like Beto or a new signing could better serve Moyes’ system.
