Russell Wilson and Ciara will start another chapter in their lives after the veteran quarterback was signed by the New York Giants to a one-year deal worth $10.5 million, according to Spotrac.
Since the celebrity couple started dating in 2015, Wilson has been with four teams, including the Giants. He is coming off a one-season pitstop with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The 10-time Pro Bowler will get busy in the offseason trying to learn the system of the Giants and building chemistry with his new teammates.
Ciara should be equally busy as well, especially with her rum brand, Ten to One Rum, which she co-owns. She and her colleagues were featured on the latest cover of Chilled Magazine, which hailed the "innovative flavors" of their premium product.
In the article, the 39-year-old singer-songwriter opened up about her decision to get involved with the rum brand, which is now reportedly worth $3 million since it started in 2019.
"I've always had an authentic love for rum," said Ciara, who joined in 2021. "What continues to excite me about the brand is knowing how much opportunity there is."
The award-winning artist added that her creative mind has aided her in marketing Ten to One Rum and in "bringing a vision." She also touted that she has helped break the glass ceiling in their industry.
"I'm truly proud to know that I'm one of the few women and women of color to participate in the spirits category," added Ciara. "I feel super motivated and focused."
Ten to One Rum is just among the business ventures of Ciara. She also owns a record label, Beauty Marks Entertainment, and a skincare line, On A Mission.
