It is going to be a busy summer for Wolves in the transfer window, and journalist Liam Keen has been speaking about the club’s potential spending power.
It’s looking likely Wolves will be a Premier League once again next season.
Vitor Pereira has come in and steadied the ship at Molineux, and with a nine-point gap down to the relegation zone, the situation is healthy.
It’s just about seeing the job through now, and Wolves will hopefully be able to secure safety mathematically as soon as possible.
This will give Pereira a chance to turn to some of his fringe players, with Dave Edwards hopeful Pedro Lima and others might get more game time.
It’s been claimed Fosun are set to continue with their self-sustaining model at Wolves, and with that, journalist Liam Keen has suggest the kind of fees Wolves could be looking to spend this summer.

Since Wolves have been back in the Premier League, we have seen the club splash out a few times.
The club spent big on the likes of Nelson Semedo, Fabio Silva, Matheus Nunes and Matheus Cunha, with vary degrees of success.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
But more recently, we’ve seen Wolves pay more modest fees for players, with the club seemingly keen to avoid any more expensive mistakes.
On the latest E&S podcast, a fan asked how much the club could spend this summer in terms of on a single player
Journalist Liam Keen said: “Probably similar to what we’ve experienced recently. Wolves came out the back of the financial fair play, or PSR, issues. Obviously the Lopetegui situation, it came off the back of that, with the view of focusing on the kind of players that were where they had the most joy.
“So you look at a Jota or a Neves or a Boly. These kind of players where you were looking in the sort of £8-£15 million region.
“Now depending individual deal – obviously deals are made up differently in terms of how much you pay up front and the amortisation of the contract and how much the money gets spread over a few years.
“They’ve gone into sort of early twenties. That’s probably going to be around Wolves’ max. They spent around that for Andre. You look at Agbadou and Munetsi, they were £15-16 million.
“I think that’s going to be their top end. It’s getting to that Andre money, but preferably a little bit below that, looking for players that are hungry and motivated to be there, got a point to prove, but with quality as well. That would probably be the top end.
“You’ve got too many flops, Guedes, Fabio Silva, players that they’ve spent a lot more than that on and haven’t work out so I think they’ll look at the kind of market that they’ve been focusing on recently.”
Wolves fans will be disappointed by new transfer claim
Some Wolves fans won’t be too happy to hear that the club may not exceed £21 million (Andre fee) for any single player this summer.
But it’s understandable, because Wolves really did overpay for some signings who just haven’t worked out.
But we’ve seen that there can be real value in signing players for between £10 million and £20 million.
Agbadou has been a brilliant addition so far, and fans will certainly hope for more bargains like him.
That said, if Wolves are going to try and push for the top 10 or even Europe, then Fosun surely need to be willing to pay over £20 million for players.
Ideally, Pereira will encourage them to shell out on a player he feels he really needs.
