Josh Giddey and the Chicago Bulls extended their win streak to three by winning 129-119 Monday night against the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena. Chicago was led by the offensive flurry of Coby White who contributed 37 points on 50% shooting with five threes made. This marks the seventh straight game where White was the leading scorer for the Bulls.
After trading away Zach LaVine to the Sacramento Kings and welcoming back Lonzo Ball after his 1,000-day absence due to injury, Chicago is beginning to prioritize Giddey since trading for him in the offseason. Since the beginning of February, the former No. 6 pick in the draft is averaging 20.7 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 7.5 assists across 18 games (via StatMuse).
However, it is possible Giddey may be forced to pause his exceptional play according to Chicago's latest injury report.
Ahead of their matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night, the Bulls announced Giddey is officially listed as questionable for the contest due to right flexor carpari ulnaris (wrist) tendinopathy.

While the questionable tag suggests the injury isn't too serious, it is the first mention of this designation for the fourth-year guard. If Giddey is forced to sit out, his next chance to suit up will be on Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks.
While the Bulls remain in an unideal spot in the standings (ninth in the Eastern Conference), beating back-to-back Western Conference playoff teams certainly helps build confidence. With just 10 games remaining in the regular season, it is almost certain that the Bulls will be in the Play-In Tournament.
