Earlier this morning, longtime NBA personality and analyst Stephen A. Smith made some wild claims against Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. The biggest is that James didn't attend the memorial service of former NBA star Kobe Bryant.

This was a false claim, and fans went into a frenzy after the accusation. During that time period, The Los Angeles Times reported that James did in fact attend.
Many were angry that Smith even brought Bryant up when discussing his issues with James. Well, Smith has now apologized for this claim and took to social media about it all.
"My apologies and clarification. I misspoke in Hour#1 of@FirstTake today when I intimated that LeBron did not attend Kobe Bryant's memorial. I corrected myself in Hour#2 when I acknowledged he was indeed in attendance. My mistake. Should not have even broached that subject. It was not my main point. I retract NOTHING else that I said. Have a nice day!"
This claim from Smith was part of an ongoing feud between him and James. After James confronted Smith weeks ago on the sidelines of a game over comments about his son Bronny, the two have had beef.
James seemed to throw fuel on the fire when appearing on The Pat McAfee Show this week, discussing Smith. The Lakers star then posted an epic troll about Smith on social media, sparking Smith to respond.

The discourse in this drama has fans looking to see what else could be said. The feud between the two men has now been taken to new heights, just as it seemed to die down.
Both have taken shots, and it remains to be seen if James will respond to these new comments from Smith. James has normally taken the silent approach to matters such as this, but it seems his son being in the NBA has opened new doors for the star to get involved.
