NBA Commissioner Adam Silver didn’t hold back when discussing the league’s latest attempt to revamp the All-Star Game.
After this year’s experiment with a 40-point mini-tournament received widespread criticism, Silver admitted the format didn’t deliver as intended.
"It was a miss," Silver said, per Tim Reynolds.
Looking ahead, Silver assured that the league is already working on improvements, confirming that NBC has high hopes for next year’s event.
"We’re back to the drawing board," Silver said, signaling that the league will explore new ways to make the All-Star Game more exciting and meaningful.
In 2025, Shaq's OGs team won the tournament. Players such as Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Damian Lillard, Jaylen Brown, and Kyrie Irving were a part of Shaq's team.
