**VfL Women lost the second leg 6-1 in Barcelona.**

VfL Wolfsburg Women’s UEFA Champions League journey has come to an end in the quarter-finals against Barcelona. After suffering a 4-1 defeat in the first leg, the She-Wolves lost 6-1 in the return fixture in front of 4,651 fans at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

* **1-0 Paralluelo (10’):** A misplaced pass from Alex Popp inside her own half leads to the opening goal. Aitana Bonmati tees up Salma Paralluelo to drill in the first goal.

* **2-0 Paralluelo (20’):** Esmee Brugts finds the unmarked Paralluelo inside the box and she puts the home side 2-0 ahead.

* **3-0 Brugts (41’):** Ouch! After creating her team’s second goal, Brugts gets the third with a long-range effort.

* **5-1 Pina (77’):** Pina’s 20-yard free-kick strikes the inside of the post and flies into the net.

* **6-1 Leon (90’+1):** Maria Leon executes an unstoppable free-kick from 30 yards into the top-right corner.
