According to club insider John Wenham, a key factor in Iraola’s appeal to Tottenham could be his ability to bring a trio of Bournemouth players with him to North London.
Wenham believes that if Spurs opt for the Spaniard, it would not only secure an exciting managerial prospect but also open the door for several quality signings.
Among the names being linked are Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, and Antoine Semenyo, who have all impressed under Iraola’s guidance.
However, a significant advantage could be for striker Dominic Solanke, who has previously thrived in Iraola’s system. With Spurs looking to strengthen their attack, having a £65 million forward already familiar with the manager’s tactics could be a major boost.

“One positive I could see about Iraola joining Tottenham is Dominic Solanke.
“That is a £65million striker already at the club who Iraola has proven he can get a lot out of.
“However, he could also bring some more players to Tottenham.
“Huijsen, Milos Kerkez and Antoine Semenyo. They would be three brilliant additions. Iraola would certainly be in my top three candidates for the Tottenham job.”

Iraola’s coaching credentials make him an intriguing option for Tottenham. After a brief stint with AEK Larnaca, he gained recognition by leading Mirandés to the Copa del Rey semi-finals, defeating top La Liga sides along the way.
The 42-year-old then earned promotion with Rayo Vallecano, before steering them to another deep cup run and solid performances in La Liga. His work with Bournemouth has further cemented his reputation, guiding the club to a historic 12th-place finish and a record 48 points in the Premier League last season.
While Postecoglou’s fate remains undecided, winning the Europa League may be his only route to survival. If Spurs decide to make a change, Iraola’s ability to attract top talent alongside his attacking philosophy could make him a compelling choice for the club’s future.
