Cyclones in the NBA: Week 22

The playoff race is starting to take shape for a couple of former Cyclones, as the NBA calendar has just ten weeks left in the regular season.

Tyrese Haliburton - #0, Indiana Pacers (42-30)

Tyrese Haliburton has been on a tear since the All-Star break, now having a 12-game double-double streak, the longest streak in the league. His best assist output came Wednesday night against the Lakers, where he finished with 16 points and 18 assists and just a single turnover.

Haliburton now has the best assist-to-turnover ratio since the All-Star break, owning 160 assists to just 14 turnovers. It is taking Haliburton 11.4 assists before making a turnover over the stretch.

Tyrese missed a few games with back tightness last week, and has only played five games in the past two weeks. In his two games before injury, Tyrese had 14-5-10 in a win over Philadelphia and 24-6-15 in a loss to Milwaukee.

Along with the 18 assist performance Wednesday, he had 24 points, four rebounds, and 11 assists (24-4-11) against Minnesota on Monday, and 16-8-12 against Brooklyn on Saturday.

He also had 23-2-2 in a win against Golden State, and 20-3-2 in another win against Philadelphia. Between those two performances, on consecutive nights, Niang made 11 three-pointers on just 17 attempts.
