West Ham manager Graham Potter, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca and Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou all want David, as do Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim, Liverpool boss Arne Slot and Newcastle manager Eddie Howe.
**Tottenham, Chelsea and West Ham are reportedly among clubs interested in Lille striker Jonathan David.**
[The i Paper](https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle-six-horse-premier-league-europe-hottest-property-3609938?ITO=newsnow) say Newcastle have joined the three London clubs, Liverpool and Manchester United in a race to sign the Canada international.
Barcelona, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also said to be interested in the player.
The report suggests West Ham have a strong chance of signing him, with David’s camp apparently impressed with manager Graham Potter’s plans for the club – but not as keen on the player joining Chelsea given the amount of forwards they already have.
The report also suggests David is unlikely to join Manchester United because he does not fit the profile of player Ruben Amorim wants, or Liverpool because their priority target is Newcastle striker Alexander Isak.
David, 25, has scored 14 league and nine Champions League goals this season.
His contract expires this summer and he is widely expected to leave Lille after five years with the French club.
Tottenham were linked with him during the January transfer window and are again said to be keen to snap him up.
David reportedly opted against a move in order to see out his contract and assess his options at the end of the campaign, when he can move on a free transfer.
