Barcelona moved three points clear at the top of the LaLiga table with [a comfortable victory over CA Osasuna on Thursday](https://fromthespot.co.uk/17791/barcelona-3-0-osasuna-blaugrana-cruise-to-victory-without-leaving-second-gear/), with Hansi Flick praising his squad in his post-match press conference for playing _“very well”_ under difficult circumstances.
The clash was originally scheduled to be played on March 8, but was postponed at short notice after the tragic passing of Barcelona’s team doctor, Carles Miñarro Garcia.
Despite protests from both clubs, the fixture was rearranged for March 27, just one day after the international window finished. Flick suggested that Barça _“did the best we could with the situation we found ourselves in”._
_“It wasn’t the best day to play this match. We’ve paid heavily with the injury to Dani Olmo,”_ the 60-year-old revealed, with the Spaniard forced off in the first half after scoring from the penalty spot.
_“He’s injured. There are a lot of games in the next two weeks to miss,”_ Flick accepted.
It is a sign of a wider problem though, according to the German manager, who insists that _“we have to listen to the players and also to the coaches. This summer, there’ll be the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Nations League, national team matches… and it’ll be very tough.”_
_“I don’t think it’ll be good. They can earn lots of money but for the players it’ll be tough. It has to stop, for the wellbeing of the players.”_
