HEYWARD FIRES BACK AT BAYLESS
The Pittsburgh Steelers are still waiting for an answer from Aaron Rodgers. However, Cam Heyward made it clear that he’d like Rodgers on the team. Some people believed that previous comments from Heyward meant he didn’t want Rodgers. That doesn’t seem to be the case, although it didn’t stop Skip Bayless from taking shots at Heyward for supposedly “backtracking” his comments on Rodgers.
Heyward didn’t ignore Bayless’ comment. He took to Twitter and fired back at the analyst, who didn’t even spell Heyward’s name right. It’s good to see Heyward defending himself. He’s done enough good to be able to respond to his detractors.
I’m amused you can’t @ me or atleast spell my name right

RUSS AT KNICKS GAME
Russell Wilson will not be re-signing with the Steelers. Instead, he’s taken his talents to the New York Giants. Wilson wasn’t awful during his lone season in Pittsburgh, but it seems like the team was ready to move on. And it looks like he’s not wasting any time ingratiating himself with New York.
The New York Knicks took to Twitter to show a video of Wilson attending a recent game. He proceeded to sign a football and throw it into the crowd. It’s a nice way for Wilson to start building a fanbase with the Giants.
HIGHSMITH HELPING A COLLEGE PLAYER
Alex Highsmith has blossomed into a great player with the Steelers. He’s come quite a long way. The Steelers originally selected him in the third round of the 2020 draft. He went to school at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. It’s a smaller school, but it’s an important part of Highsmith’s journey. It looks like he hasn’t forgotten that.
The Mineshaft, an outlet that covers Charlotte’s athletics, posted a video on their twitter showing Donovan Spellman, the football team’s senior edge rusher, talking about how Highsmith has helped him. It sounds like Highsmith attended a recent practice and let Spellman pick his brain. It’s nice to see Highsmith giving back to players at his alma mater.
