Daniel Jeremiah has three Longhorns in first round of latest NFL mock draft, including WR…

Last year the Buffalo Bills passed on former Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy after trading the No. 28 pick to the Kansas City Chiefs, who used the selection for Worthy. Buffalo went on to take Keon Coleman. Worhty went on to having a strong rookie campaign, becoming a favorite target of Patrick Mahomes II. On the season he caught 78 passes for 935 yards and nine touchdowns, including eight catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns in the Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Will the Bills pass on another Longhorns wide receiver in 2025? NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah doesn't think so.

Jeremiah has Buffalo picking Texas wideout Matthew Golden with the No. 30 pick in the first round.

"The Bills have needs on defense, but this is strictly a value play," Jeremiah said. "Golden would be a perfect fit with Josh Allen."

Jeremiah has two other Texas first-rounders in this year's draft:

Kelvin Banks Jr. to the Chicago Bears at No. 10.

"The Bears need to devote their offseason to upgrading the group playing in front of Caleb Williams. Banks has the skill set to play tackle or guard."

Jahdae Barron to the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 17.

"I'm sure the Bengals would consider a defensive tackle here, but Barron is too good to pass up," Jeremiah said. "Also, there will still be talented DTs available when Cincinnati is on the clock in Round 2."

Other Longhorns that have received first round buzz for the 2025 NFL Draft at one point or another are offensive tackle Cameron Williams, quarterback Quinn Ewers, and wide receiver Isaiah Bond.

Of course others could climb draft boards based on pro days and combine performances. Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond said he wanted to break Worthy's all-time 40-yard dash record at this year's event, which will feature 14 Longhorns.

Prior to the arrival of Steve Sarkisian in Austin, the Longhorns had a first round dry spell, failing to have a pick among the first 32 selections since 2015 when defensive lineman Malcolm Brown went to the New England Patriots. Draft talent is now churning out on the Forty Acres and doesn't look like it'll be slowing down anytime soon. Last year Texas had a program-record 11 NFL Draft picks. And it looks like it could break that record this spring with over a dozen more draft hopefuls on the clock.
