Caitlin Clark in Disbelief Over NBA Team’s Historic Game

Even Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark can't believe what the Indiana Pacers just did on Thursday night.

Against the Washington Wizards, Tyrese Haliburton and Co. exploded to lead the team to a 162-109 victory. Aside from the 53-point winning margin, the fact that the Pacers scored over 160 points was simply absurd.

Indiana connected 27 triples out of 47 attempts for a 57.4 percent shooting clip. Haliburton led the way with 29 points, going 7-for-10 from beyond the arc.

With that, the Pacers not only scored the most points in a game this 2024-25 season but also set the franchise record for the most points they have ever scored.

After seeing the Pacers' accomplishment, Clark took to her Instagram Stories to share her shock. She reposted Indiana's post about the score and wrote "162 points" along with an exploding head emoji.

Caitlin Clark has been a huge supporter of the Pacers, and her close bond with Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend has been well-documented. Amid the WNBA offseason, she has been seen attending NBA games to cheer for Indiana.

In fact, during Wednesday's showdown between the Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers, Clark attended the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and witnessed how LeBron James broke the hearts of the team with a game-winning buzzer-beater.

Fortunately for Clark and the rest of the Indiana fan base, Haliburton and the rest of the Pacers bounced back big time against the Wizards and made history in the process.
