The Wizards' 162-109 horrific loss comes on the heels of their great 119-104 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. The team has now lost six of its last seven games.
Washington, which now sits at the bottom of the NBA standings with a 16-57 record, has nine games left for the 2024-25 regular season. While the season has been a nightmare for them, the young core featuring Poole, Sarr, Kyshawn George, and others holds a lot of promise. The Wizards are also banking on a chance to acquire Duke standout Cooper Flagg in the 2025 NBA Draft.
