Rangers are expecting to have their takeover by the 49ers Enterprises and Andrew Cavenagh completed by the summer transfer window.
The Gers can then look at their summer business through a different lens with more money to spend under new ownership.
Just who will be spending the money is yet to be decided, with the 49ers set to bring in a new managerial appointment while Barry Ferguson remains interim boss.

Rangers ready new striker transfer
Although the current Rangers squad has shown glimpses of promise, if the Light Blues want to be pushing Celtic next season, there will need to be a serious number of changes.
Vaclav Cerny has been the signing of the season on loan, and Ferguson has already encouraged his side to make the deal permanent in the summer window.

However, the Bears will be looking further afield with Nils Koppen, as shown with the signing of Hamza Igamane at the start of the season.
According to Sport1, Rangers scouts were in attendance as Israel lost against Norway to watch Dor Turgeman score his first goal for his international side.
The Ibrox giants are said to be preparing a move for the striker, with Burnley also interested.
The goal-hungry attacker plays for Maccabi Tel Aviv, having come through the youth system, and has scored 17 goals in 35 appearances so far this season.

Cyriel Dessers finished at Ibrox
If Rangers are looking to bring in another new striker, it could mean Cyriel Dessers is finished at Ibrox.
The striker has 11 goals in 27 league appearances this season, but has struggled for a consistent starting spot, with half of his outings from the bench.

Cyriel Dessers in the Scottish Premiership this season.
With Igamane available and exploding onto the scene, at 22 years old, he is a much more positive option to keep on the books, especially if planning for long-term success.
Dessers has certainly done plenty for Rangers during his time in Scotland, but if the 49ers are to come in with a new manager, they could be keen to move an older striker on and bring new blood into the fold.
The striker has already attracted interest from elsewhere, and given he remains under contract, it could be a good opportunity to bring money into Rangers to use elsewhere.
