Three earthquakes shake Indonesia, one death reported in North Sumatra
A strong 7.3 magnitude earthquake rocked the Thai capital Friday, causing buildings to sway. A 7.7 magnitude earthquake also hit central Myanmar on Friday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.
Offices and shops in Bangkok have been evacuated.
Germany’s GFZ centre for geosciences said the midday tremor was a shallow 10 kilometers, with an epicentre in neighboring Myanmar, according to early reports.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
