Jarrad Branthwaite could be on his way out of Everton this summer after being snubbed by England manager Thomas Tuchel.
In the past couple of seasons, Branthwaite has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League, forming a solid partnership with James Tarkowski in the Everton backline.
Given the former Carlisle man’s sturdy performances, he attracted interest from top clubs and there is an expectation that teams will come knocking for the Englishman in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Toffees convinced the defender to stay at Goodison Park last time, but they may be unable to keep hold of him ahead of next season.

Everton locate Jarrad Branthwaite replacement
The Merseysiders are expected to undergo wholesale changes in the summer transfer window, especially in the defence department.

Branthwaite was recently overlooked by Tuchel for England’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers, after which reports suggested that the Englishman is considering his future at Everton.
Moyes’ side are aware that Branthwaite may leave and have already located a replacement.
According to Everton News, Burnley defender Maxime Esteve is generating a lot of interest from the blue half of Merseyside.

Moyes’ side will face competition for the Championship man as Crystal Palace are also interested. With Burnley eyeing Premier League promotion, Everton may find it difficult to lure him away from Turf Moor. Esteve was rated at £30million back in the winter transfer window, and if Burnley manages to secure promotion, his asking price could further shoot up.
Esteve has started all 38 Championship games until now, impressing in Burnley colours in their push for promotion. Should Branthwaite be sold in the summer, the Toffees will need a centre back and Esteve seems to be a solid replacement option.

The Toffees must let go of Keane and Holgate
Michael Keane is out of contract at the end of the season and there have been no indications about a new deal. It is time that Everton let go of the former Burnley man who has slipped down the pecking order.
Mason Holgate, who is on loan at West Brom, should also be offloaded in the summer. His performances have not been up to the mark in an Everton shirt and his deal expires soon.
If Branthwaite also leaves the club, Everton may need to restructure the centre-back department, with three of the four centre-backs leaving the club.
