Last time out

City suffered an agonising exit from the UEFA Women’s Champions League when we were beaten 3-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

First-half goals from Sandy Baltimore, Nathalie Bjorn and Mayra Ramirez cancelled out our 2-0 first leg win at the Joie Stadium in the quarter-final clash.

Cushing’s injury-hit side battled until the very end but couldn’t find the crucial equaliser which would have forced extra time as our European adventure came to an end.
