Amorim has maintained his faith in his system and philosophy despite the squad consistently failing to adhere to his demands. Former manager Erik ten Hag used a lot of recruitment power during his tenure, leaving Amorim with many transfer restrictions.

United have only won 13 out of 28 games in all competitions under Amorim, losing 10 and drawing five times. The unbalance all over the pitch is a major cause for concern while the attacking department remains toothless this season.
Rasmus Hojlund cost a considerable sum to the Red Devils and has failed to shine, leading to the Zirkzee’s signing. According to Fichajes, United are covering their losses by selling Zirkzee as he struggled to impress Amorim and his staff.
The 23-year-old cost United close to €20 million and the Manchester giant would attempt to procure most of their investment. The interest in Zirkzee remains a mystery as no club has displayed any desire to sign the young Dutch attacker.
Zirkzee has contributed only six goals and two assists from 44 appearances this season for the Red Devils. A potential transfer move is beneficial for both the player and the Manchester club as they want to raise the transfer budget.
