Team News Crystal Palace
Leif Smerud started his pre-match press conference with a squad update: “We are getting people back. We are really low, a game or two and three ago. We will see who is available for Sunday. I still have a few question marks, so we will see.
What the coach has to say:
On Arsenal and what he expects: “I was at the Emirates and got to see them play live, so that was helpful. We know they are a strong side, and they proved that yesterday. We know them well and we look forward to playing against them. It’s going to be an interesting challenge, absolutely.”
On the atmosphere in the Emirates: “I think it was really good. The sound level and the enthusiasm were really good. It’s great to see that kind of crowds at those games. It’s to serve the footballers and it’s a really positive development.”
On his approach to relegation: “I believe in facing reality. The reality now is that we are out of the league at the moment, but we have a really good chance to get back in, if we do our jobs in the games now. [We must] not shy away from reality but face it. You can either fight or you can give up. I know what I prefer, and I think I know what the players prefer as well. So, we are going to go for it. We cannot be afraid of talking about the situation. That being said, I am not focused on the surviving, I am focused on what can we do.”

What the coach has to say:
Arsenal had a fantastic start to their week with a 3-0 win over Real Madrid in the Women’s Champions League quarter-final. The victory earned them a spot in the semi-finals, where they will face Olympique Lyon on April 19th in the first leg. After the game Slegers said:
“I think you see that today the players came out full of belief and executed the game plan with so much intensity today. They energized each other and the crowd, all the fans in the stadium, they energized the players. We tried to do our duty and do the same thing back.
