Newcastle release full event timeline for Saturday’s Town Moor party and bus parade

Tomorrow promises to be a brilliant day for the city of Newcastle.

A celebration of our first major domestic trophy for 70 years two weeks on from our famous 2-1 win over Liverpool that saw us lift the Carabao Cup.

As we know, there is a bus parade – leaving St James’ Park at 4.30pm – and a Town Moor party open from 1.30pm, but all the details have now been revealed with regards to timings.

1:30pm: Town Moor site opens

2pm: Carabao Cup Final replay (Town Moor)

4pm: Main Stage entertainment starts (Town Moor)

4:30pm: Bus parade begins (St. James’ Park)

5pm: Bus parade arrives at the Town Moor

5pm: Q&A with legends

6:35pm: Players on stage

7pm: Sela Spectacular Surprise

7:30pm: Event finishes

8.15pm: Site closes

We’ve picked out some key points from the club’s latest update on tomorrow’s event:

All supporters planning to attend the Town Moor event should download their tickets before setting off to the Town Moor.

Those with tickets for the event at the Town Moor are encouraged to go directly to the Town Moor site, where the parade will be streamed live on large screens, rather than the parade route.

Food, drink and retail outlets at the Town Moor will accept card and contactless payments only. This is a cashless event.

This is a family event. Supporters will be able to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Daysack-sized bags (roughly A4) will be allowed on site but will be subject to security checks.

The following are not permitted on site – Alcohol, chairs/camping equipment, flags, pyrotechnics / flares, drones, pets.

There is no parking available at the Town Moor. A full list of related road closures and parking restrictions can be found HERE.

The parade and Town Moor event will have significant impact on the region’s transport network on Saturday 29th March All public transport is expected to be very busy all day. Event attendees are encouraged to walk to and from the event site where possible.
