Dominic Calvert-Lewin was flooded with support as he married his long-term partner Sandra Jerze. The couple had their first child together in August 2023.

Then, in June of last year, the Evertonstriker revealed he had proposed to Sandra, who is a model. He shared a snap of the moment he got down on one knee and said: "Ich Liebe dich in all languages…SCL coming soon let’s goooooooo."

Sandra proudly showed off her new engagement ring as she said: "Dominic Calvert-Lewin my heart is fully yours and I will always put you first.

“I‘m beyond grateful for the life we have and there is no one better to share it with than you. Let's enjoy the rest of our life together, I love everything about us. Thanks for the big fat one… Your soon to be SCL."

Yesterday evening, Sandra shared pictures from their wedding, which took place in the last week, in a joint Instagram post. It appears the couple opted for a low key ceremony at a registry office with only close friends and family members appearing in the pictures.

The couple’s faces were beaming with smiles as they tied the knot. In the accompanying caption, Sandra said: “Civil wedding day one.” She added a white love heart emoji.

The post received over 12,000 likes, including from Calvert Lewin’s teammates Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison as well as Everton's official account.

Former Everton left-back Lucas Digne added in the comment section: “Congrats bro.” Hundreds of other fans also passed on their best wishes. One said: “What a beautiful couple. Congratulations to you both!”

Another person said: “Congratulations, may your love last forever.” A third person commented: “Congratulations Sandra and Dom. Sandra, you look beautifully elegant.” A fourth added: "Congratulations! I hope the wonderful times keep on coming for you.”

Pictures were also shared on social media of former blue Tom Davies at the wedding. The Scouse midfielder became close friends with Calvert-Lewin during his time on Merseyside.

The Everton striker has been injured with an ankle injury since January but could return for the Merseyside derby next week against Liverpool at Anfield.

David Moyes’ side are currently 15th in the Premier League table. Given their impressive form since the Scot returned to Goodison Park, they will be looking to climb higher up the table ahead of the club’s move to its new stadium at Bramely-Moore Dock.

Speaking previously about becoming a dad, Calvert-Lewin said he had moved away from some of his more daring fashion outfits following the birth of his child.

He said: “I’m going into a new phase of life, it’s kind of mellowed me out a little bit in terms of clothing. I like to dress a little bit more sophisticated now, and match my title as a dad.

“It’s brought a lot of joy to my life. My actual day-to-day life has not changed all that much. I get up, train, chill out, and recover. The only difference now is that I have to do it with a baby, so my attention can obviously be drawn elsewhere. Obviously there are also interrupted nights of sleep.”
