Man Utd took part in a training session at Carrington on Friday morning and this is who was spotted.

Manchester United have been handed a huge fitness boost ahead of their Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night. Ruben Amorim's side does not have a fixture this weekend after they were knocked out of the FA Cup and will use the time to work together on the training ground.

United took part in their latest training session on Friday morning, with a section of the drill broadcast live by club media. Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Leny Yoro were all spotted taking part in the passing drills, ahead of their potential return to action in the coming weeks. It is understood Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton were both also involved.

Maguire and Yoro both suffered minor setbacks before the March international break, while Shaw has only made three appearances all season and has not started a game for the club in over a year. There was no sign of Ayden Heaven after he suffered an injury in the 3-0 victory over Leicester last time out, while Kobbie Mainoo also missed out.

Manchester United handed five fitness boosts

Manchester United welcomed five players back to first-team training on Friday morning, though it is unclear whether any of them will be available to face Nottingham Forest in the Premier League next week. Ruben Amorim is expected to issue a further team news update when he speaks to the press on Monday afternoon ahead of their upcoming trip to the City Ground.

Shaw has been sidelined since the 4-0 victory over Everton back in December and has only made three substitute appearances for the club this season. Maguire has not featured since he limped out of the FA Cup penalty shootout defeat to Fulham earlier in the month, while Yoro missed the last two matches after picking up an injury in the home draw with Arsenal.

Bayindir missed the last nine matches due to injury and Heaton has not been involved in any of the previous 15 matches. They could both be involved against Nottingham Forest.
