Leeds United transfer guru Nick Hammond is set to follow Angus Kinnear in making the move to Everton, according to the Daily Mail.
Leeds United are set for another huge summer, hopefully as a Premier League club. No matter what division LUFC find themselves in come June, they will be having a busy time preparing for the new season.
Daniel Farke’s side are already making their plans with several names already linked with a move to Elland Road. However, with just a couple of months remaining until the summer window, they are set to bid farewell to another key off-pitch figure.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton are set to take Leeds United’s transfer guru Nick Hammond. He is following chief executive Angus Kinnear in making the move this summer.
Everton are undergoing a huge rebuild behind the scenes and they see Hammond as a key appointment. As things stand, he is the only other figure joining from Leeds United alongside Kinnear.
It is a huge blow to LUFC with Hammond being hailed as the man to rebuild the club after their relegation in 2023. With another big summer ahead, they will not have wanted to lose the recruitment guru.
Why so highly-rated?
The vast majority of Leeds United’s key players were brought in by Hammond. In the 2023 summer window, he played a role in Ilia Gruev, Joel Piroe and Ethan Ampadu’s signings for around the same fee they sold Tyler Adams for.

That was backed up last summer window too. When LUFC saw four of their best players leave, he rebuilt the squad for a fraction of the price.

Ao Tanaka arrived for a bargain fee of around £3m along with the permanent signing of Joe Rodon. Both of those players could be argued as the best in their position at Championship level.
LUFC must replace him quickly
Leeds United’s business in the Premier League towards the end was disastrous. It left them with many players who did not want to be there, leaving them short-handed for the Championship.
Should they achieve promotion this season they need to be completely aligned with their transfer business. After seeing the three promoted sides struggle so much, they know business needs to be strong.

The Whites have several players already who can make the step up, but reinforcements are still needed and they need the right setup in place to get them in.
