Triple Brighton injury boost as Joao Pedro and Kaoru Mitoma hints dropped for Nottingham Forest

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has issued an injury update ahead of facing Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s Reds travel to the Amex Stadium to face the Seagulls on Saturday (5:15pm).

Forest thrashed Brighton 7-0 at the City Ground in the Premier League only last month and the two sides drew 2-2 at the Amex in the league back in September.

Speaking at his press conference on Friday, Hurzeler provided the latest on the fitness of his squad.

"Lewis Dunk will be back, Matt O'Riley will be back, hopefully, they both will be options for the game. Let's wait until the session today,” he said.

"Tariq (Lamptey) will be out for a longer time. Solly March should be an option. I think they both (Joao Pedro and Kaoru Mitoma) will be fine and can start the game."

Hurzeler has also played down the occasion as the two clubs battle to reach a Wembley semi-final.

"Of course we feel it but for me, it's important we don't make it artificially big,” he said.

“Of course, it's an important game but it's like all the other games as well because in all the games we can improve ourselves, in all the games we have to go to the limit.

"I am not trying to make it artificially big, we all know it's a big opportunity, a big chance but it's like all the other games as well."
