Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Injury Status Before Knicks-Bucks

The New York Knicks are on the road on Friday as they travel to Fiserv Forum to take on the Milwaukee Bucks.

New York enters Friday's contest amid a recent rough stretch as they have lost five of their last 10 games and are coming off a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.

They will now look to turn things around against a Bucks team that has lost six of their last 10 games including two straight.

To make matters worse for Milwaukee they may once again be without their superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo in Friday's game.

The Bucks have listed Giannis as questionable due to a foot sprain that kept him out of Wednesday's loss to the Denver Nuggets.

With the Bucks already without Damian Lillard due to a blood clot in his calf, it would be a massive blow if Giannis is once again sidelined on Friday as they continue to fight for a higher seed in the Eastern Conference standings before the playoffs begin.

This season, the 30-year-old forward is averaging 30.2 points, 12.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 60.0% from the field and 19.1% from three-point range.

Giannis has put together another incredible season and he has been a major reason why the Bucks are currently holding onto the sixth spot in the East standings.

Of course, Milwaukee has fallen in the standings over the past few weeks due to their rough patch and if Giannis continues to miss games, it could become even worse for the Bucks, especially with Lillard out indefinitely.

If Giannis is sidelined once again on Friday against the Knicks, expect Kyle Kuzma and Brook Lopez to carry most of the load for Milwaukee and Taurean Prince should also see an increased role.

Fans can catch Friday's matchup between the Knicks and Bucks at 8:00 p.m. EST.
