Manchester United are reportedly interested in Club Brugge star Ardon Jashari following an impressive Champions League campaign for the Swiss midfielder.
Ruben Amorim has aspirations to build a successful team at Manchester United, with the help of Ineos and a recruitment team trying to correct mistakes from previous transfer windows.
It has been a year since Sir Jim Ratcliffe became co-owner and over 20 years since the Glazers took over a majority share of the football club. These are uncertain times with many changes expected on and off the pitch.
United’s position in the Premier League doesn’t help with Amorim’s team sitting 13th in the standings. The Reds have nine games left to climb into the top half of the table.
Meanwhile, United still have a chance of qualifying for the Champions League. They must go all the way in the Europa League to achieve that.
There could be a squad overhaul in the summer with United looking to get rid of 10 players, including those who are running out of contract, such as Scandinavian duo Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof.
That means there will be room for Amorim to add new signings to his United first-team squad.

Manchester United interested in Ardon Jashari
Amorim will want to strengthen several areas of his team when the transfer window opens, although it remains to be seen how much money will be available in the club’s transfer kitty.
Ineos are not afraid to sign players on the cheap – as seen with Ayden Heaven, who joined from Arsenal for £1.5 million in January. The 18-year-old defender already looks like a shrewd piece of business.
Club Brugge midfielder Ardon Jashari is the latest player to emerge on United’s radar after showcasing his ability both domestically in Belgium and on the biggest stage in the Champions League.

Unari Emery’s Aston Villa were responsible for ending Brugge’s run in the Champions League, which collapsed in the Round of 16, but Jashari’s performances earned widespread plaudits in the earlier stages of Europe’s most prestigious competition.
It is understood that Jashari is attracting interest from multiple clubs in the Premier League and Serie A, but Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claim United are considering a swoop for the 22-year-old, who has earned two caps for the senior Switzerland national team.
Jashari was named man of the match when Brugge beat Atalanta 3-1 in the Champions League knockout play-offs.
The Belgian outfit is set to make a profit on a player they paid just £5 million for last year.
Jashari is a well-rounded prospect who can operate as a box-to-box midfielder. He possesses the energy to become a potential replacement for Casemiro.
Former Premier League star hails Ardon Jashari
The Swiss midfielder has left a strong impression on former Premier League star Steven Defour with his performances.
Defour, who played for Burnley during his time in England, believes Jashari is ready-made for the Premier League.
“He is the best player in our league and perhaps even one of the best of the last ten years,” Defour told Het Laatste Nieuws, as relayed by Voetbal Primeur.
“His combination of energy, aggression and calmness on the ball is unique. He reads the game excellently and is technically strong enough to compete at the highest level.
“The time when it was all about running and pounding is long gone. His dynamism and way of playing forward would not be out of place at a team from the English sub-top.”
